We recently went to the Saginaw Children's Zoo for an afternoon of entertainment. Grammy even came to walk around our little zoo. It was a perfect 83 degrees and Ainsley was super cooperative!
Here you see Ainsley getting her hand painted. She was a little leery about a stranger painting her face, so she chose her hand and a lady bug. It was just quick enough for a two-year old's attention span. There were animals to see, you know!
I am hot stuff!
The next thing we had to do was go on the train. Boy, was this fun for her! The ride, the sounds, the animals! Could life get any more exciting!?
Durham mostly watched Mommy making funny faces.
Then there were the animals. She was convinced that the two monkeys were named Jordynn and Kennedy. We got within inches of a kangaroo. The penguins were swimming. This was a perfect trip for a two-year old!
She even got to pet the horse.
And you know when you bring Grammy along, there will be special treats. Here she is enjoying her Spongebob Popsicle. Just before this, a peacock had joined her in eating her chips.
Finally, we went on the carousel. She went around a few times with Grammy, a couple more times with Mom, and again with Dad. Does life get any better?
She must have learned something from her peacock lunchdate. Looking pretty proud here!
Wave at Mommy!
Durham strolled around with very little fussing. During the carousel action, he had a bottle and fell asleep.
What a fun day!
