This was the month of major collicky crying. Crying, crying, and more crying. We might have an hour or two of awake, non-crying baby in the mornings, but crying started soon after. Six to ten at night was a nightmare of crying. Even through all this, he started making cooing noises and smiling this month. He has some happiness in there somewhere! He's sleeping more in his crib and swing as opposed to Mama's arms. He eats 3-5 oz. with Mylicon at each feeding. We had desperate nighttime Mylicon runs every once in a while. He spits up and vomits quite a bit. We go through a lot of Durham and Mama clothes through the day. Burp clothes and bibs do nothing against what he can urp up. One blocked tear duct seems to have cleared up, but the other is still pretty crusty. Each nighttime feeding also includes a warm washcloth eye duct rub. We sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" and "Gridiron Heroes" when he's grumpy. Dad had Mama Youtube "Gridiron Heroes" to learn to sing it to his son. He's hoping for a football fan. He takes three naps a day, sleeps mostly from 9pm - 5am. He's growing quite a bit. He needs a swaddle blanket and pacifier to sleep. We also use the white noise machine in his room every night. Unfortunately, he got his first cold this month.
