Summer is ice cream time!

She loves to hold him, but he's catching up on her in size!  

"He's being silly, Mama!"

She fits better into the Bumbo seat now than when she was 6 months old.  

Ainsley wanted to tuck him in with her.  They were playing house.  

3rd - Durham has a little cold.  We go to Bryce and Kyle's ball games in Reese.

4th - Durham's first taste of peas.  There isn't a food he's rejected yet.

5th - Durham is four months old.

6th - Went to the River Place for a band concert.  

7th - Durham is definitely reaching for everything.  Time to move the plates back at the table.  

9th - Durham is very good at eating off a spoon now.  He's like a little bird.  Opens his mouth and waits for more food!

10th - First taste of carrots.  

11th - Went to the Bavarian Festival with Mom, Ainsley and Grammy.  Ainsley loved the motorcycle ride and meeting cheerleader-princesses.

12th - First Bavarian Festival Parade.  We watched it from Jamie Tackabury's grandmother's house.  Ainsley loved all the different princesses.  Durham wasn't a fan of the loud noises.  Grammy and Papa alternated walking him away and around the house when the firetrucks came by.  

13th - Doctor's appointment for Durham.  2 shots!

14th - Durham has his first buzzcut.  Most of his dark hair had fallen out, replaced with patchy blonder hair.  We cut off the leftover thick patch of dark hair at the nape of his neck.  He sat on Dad's lap and didn't even notice what we were doing.

15th - First trip to the library.  Ainsley loved the toys at the library.  She's certain there is a picture of Jesus on the outside.  Durham has his first taste of fruit - pears.

17th - Went to Bryce's championship game in Reese.

18th - Went shopping at the River Place for Father's Day gifts.

19th - 1st taste of green beans.  We went to Grammy and Papa's house and out shopping for a new swingset.

22nd - Durham discovers his toes!  What fun new toys!

23rd - First taste of prunes.  Mama and Daddy start building the playset.  

25th - All the grandparents stop by to help with the playset.  

27th - Ainsley goes out to lunch with Mama and a friend in Saginaw.  

28th - Durham rolled over in bed for the first time.  He was unhappy about finding himself  on his stomach.  We had to roll him back a few times that night to get him to go back to sleep.

30th - We leave for Petoskey.  This is Durham's first road trip.  Both the kids do well on the ride.  Later, Durham goes swimming for the first time.  Ainsley loves the hotel room and the new Ipad.
